WAYAH BALD LOOKOUT TOWER
For some of the best views of the region, we highly recommend making the trip to the Wayah Bald Lookout Tower.
Wayah Bald itself has an elevation of 5,342 ft. and grants you a glimpse of the surrounding scenery. The old stone lookout tower is 53 ft tall and provides unobstructed views of the area, from the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee to the rolling hills of Georgia.

On your way to visit the Wayah Bald Lookout Tower, we highly recommend stopping by the Wilson Lick Ranger Station. You can learn more about the history of the Bald at the informational kiosk on site.
